Today is Earth Day. Today we celebrate and recognize Earth for all it accomplishments throughout the years. Something like that.

Normally I would spend my afternoons driving around in my Durango with the windows down listening to Scandal as loud as possible and trying to do everything I can to increase my carbon footprint.

Not today. Today I will be taking part in numerous Earth friendly activities with Marybel and the kids. These activities include:

• Planting a new vegetable and herb garden.

• Walking to a local restaurant for dinner, rather than driving and listening to Scandal.

• Carpooling the boys to school with some of the neighborhood kids.

• Spraying full bottles of Aqua Net into the air

Okay, so I may not be doing that last one. We'll see.
